We are witnessing the ascension of Kevin Durant into the pantheon of all-time players. I hope you’re paying attention; this sort of playoff performance doesn’t happen very often (Dirk had his turn last year).
Kevin Durant is staking his claim for the best, most clutch player in the 2012 NBA Playoffs. The Larry O’Brien trophy is his for the taking.
No wonder Scott Brooks hugged Durant’s mom after the game 5 win.
